My name is Luca Bowring. I was born in Tarragona but both of my parents are English …. you might know them!!!
I am currently studying a degree in English at the URV in Tarragona. In 2025 I did a course to teach English as a foreign language and got the Cambridge CELTA (Certificate in English Language Teaching to Adults). I then spent the summer working as an English teacher at the English Summer camp in Tamarit, where I taught mostly young children, and I enjoyed it very much. I am looking forward to teaching students of different ages this course to broaden my experience and put into practice everything I have learnt. What´s more, when I was younger, I studied at the academy to get the Cambridge Advanced and Proficiency certificates, so I know exactly how it feels to be a student here!
In my free time, I enjoy going out with my friends, reading and watching series.
