Cambridge English Centre offers courses to adults of all levels. All our teachers are native English speakers and are qualified and experienced in teaching English as a foreign language. Our groups are small with a maximum of twelve students per class.
We use a communicative method of teaching, so our students always need to speak in English during the classes, with the teacher, in pairs or to the whole group.
We follow a grammar and vocabulary syllabus in line with the levels of the official Cambridge exams. Our aim is for all our students to reach the level of Cambridge First Certificate by 4th ESO or earlier, giving those students with a higher level time to get the Cambridge Advanced or even Proficiency (C2) certificate before starting university.
All our students have homework to do every weekend and at the end of each term, they do an exam to check they are following the study plan well or to identify any problems. Parents of students in Kids and Teens groups receive a report every term with their marks and a comment on their progress. In addition, twice a year, parents can attend a personal tutorial with their child's teacher. We measure our success in that of our students and do everything we can to help them reach their goals.

ADULT
We offer Adult Cambridge exam preparation classes for PET (B1), FIRST (B2), ADVANCED (C1) and PROFICIENCY (C2) and a weekly Advanced Conversation class.
PET
Students who have demonstrated that they have a good grasp of the basic language at KET or Pre-Intermediate level move onto our PET (Preliminary English Test) course, which is equivalent to level B1 of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages.
FCE
Cambridge First (First Certificate in English) is the most important exam for the majority of our students and is becoming increasingly necessary for university and work. Our FCE preparation courses not only reinforce the grammar and vocabulary required at this upper intermediate level, but also focus on exam skills and practice. Furthermore, strong emphasis is placed on developing writing skills for the different styles and tasks required in the exam. FCE is equivalent to level B2 of the Common European Framework for Languages.
CAE
More and more of our students are joining our Cambridge Advanced preparation courses once they have passed the FCE in order to continue their studies and demonstrate their level of English at a higher level (C1). The Cambridge Advanced is the qualification most often required to work or study in an English-speaking country.
CPE
A Cambridge English: Proficiency (CPE) qualification shows the world that you have mastered English to an exceptional level. It proves you can communicate with the fluency and sophistication of a highly competent English speaker. Preparing for and passing the exam means you have the level of English that’s needed to study or work in a very senior professional or academic environment, for example on a postgraduate or PhD programme.
