Cambridge English Centre is a family business owned and run by a British couple, Tim Bowring and Julia McDermott, residents of Tarragona since 2003. The school opened in 2010 and since then has become one of the largest and most popular English academies in Tarragona.
We each have over twenty five years of experience teaching English as a Foreign Language to students of all ages. We are also both highly qualified, holding the University of Cambridge Diploma in English Language Teaching to Adults, as well as the Certificate in English Language Teaching to Young Learners and the Certificate of Teaching Business English. Furthermore, we are both oral examiners for the Cambridge ELT examinations YLE, KET, PET, FCE and CAE.
