My name is Tim Bowring and I am the Director of Cambridge English Centre. I come from a small village near Cambridge in England.
I started teaching English in 1998 and have worked in Poland (where I met Julia) Italy, Portugal and England. We moved to Tarragona in 2003 and opened Cambridge English Centre in 2010.
As well as teaching at the academy, I also work at Institució Tarragona (Turó school) three mornings a week, where I do speaking practice with the secondary students. I enjoy teaching all ages and all levels, but I particularly like students who love homework, speaking only in English and doing exams! At the moment I am studying for a Master´s at the URV in Teaching English as a Foreign/Second Language.
Julia and I have two children, two cats and two dogs so our house is often very noisy! When I have free time, I like going swimming, playing golf and cooking. I also love watching films but I usually fall asleep before the end!
