My name is Lisa Tomé. I’m from the capital city of Edinburgh in Scotland.
In Scotland, I worked in the banking and investments sector until I decided to come to Spain to study Spanish in 2010. I loved the classroom atmosphere so much that I decided to stay and study for the CELTA to teach English here.
I’ve been teaching in Andalucia for 5 years and now I’m looking forward to experiencing a different region of Spain, learning some Catalan and helping students achieve their goals to learn English!
When I’m not working, I can usually be found at the beach making the most of the beautiful Spanish weather, walking with my dog or exploring new towns and cities. I also love listening to music and watching films.
